Adventure Passport Stop #1 is an icon in the Bruce. You can literally hear the horn from miles around. Be careful at this stop as there might be a few twists and turns. Remember to read carefully!
The Box is located on the dock.
Petrel Point Nature Reserve is one of several managed by Ontario Nature and is also Adventure Passport Stop #2. This Great Lakes Meadow Marsh is rare habitat and is home to many rare plants. Many of these include carnivorous plants and wild orchids. Please stay on the walkways as this is a very sensitive area.

Welcome to the newest addition to the Saugeen Shores Community and Adventure Passport stop #3. This is the inaugural year for the Skate Park. Last year the Saugeen Shores BMX club hosted the Provincial championship. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Saugeen Rail Trail. This fantastic trail links Port Elgin and Southampton.

Come on home to the Country at Adventure Passport stop #4! This year Teeswater is home to the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo. This 5 day event turns a farmers field into a HUGE tented city and RV park. Not only will Teeswater be home to the 2008 IPM, it is also home to Canada’s oldest continuous running creamery. Be sure to check out some of the delicious local foods found at the Gay Lea Country Store.

Adventure Passport Stop #5 is located on the Chesley Heritage Trail. The Town of Chesley is in the heart of agriculture in Bruce County. The Heritage Trial follows along the Saugeen River and the former CN rail line. Remember to read closely!

Follow the Saugeen River Trail, Adventure Passport Stop #6 through historic Walkerton. This 6 km trail will take you along the shores of the Saugeen River and will lead you from park to park. The trail is suitable for walking or cycling in the summer, but why not experience it from a pair of snowshoes or cross-country skis in the winter?
Clue: Head to where the coffee flows like a river.
Located at the bottom of the valley is Adventure Passport Stop #7, Lions Park. Formosa is a small community in Bruce County that is home to one of the county’s oldest businesses, the Formosa Brewery. Stop in for a pint! (please don’t drink and drive).
The Passport box is located in the Park.
In the heart of Kincardine is Adventure Passport Stop #8, Victoria Park. This beautiful park is located right in the downtown core of the Town and is often a meeting place for friends and family as well as many festivals and events. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the gazebo!
WAAAY down in the corner of the County you’ll find Adventure Passport Stop #9, Amberley Beach. Once you’re there, just take a few steps to the south and you will be in Huron County!
Clue: At the Southwestern most point in the County
Explore Adventure Passport Stop #10 and discover another beautiful section of the Bruce Trail. Take in some of the spectacular views of Georgian Bay. See if you can spot Griffith, White Cloud and Hay Islands.
Clue: At the top of the Escarpment near Big Bay (15 min hike)
Take some time to discover Adventure Passport Stop #11, Rural Rocks Side Trail. This official side trail of the Bruce Trail is one of the few side trails not connected to the main Bruce Trail. While here, check out Rural Rootz Garden, part of the Rural Gardens of Grey Bruce Tour. Please note, this is a difficult hike.
Clue: On Bruce Rd 13, 2km west of Wiarton (15 min hike)
Adventure Passport Stop #12 is also located on the beautiful Bruce Trail. White Bluff is an Ontario Parks Nature Reserve. It is full of unique flora and fauna found only on the Bruce Peninsula. Please note this is a sensitive ecosystem so please stick to the trail.
Clue: North of Lion’s Head off the Forty Hills Road (1-2 hr hike)
